is an ASP/ASPM?
An
Accredited Staging® Professional (ASP™) or Accredited
Staging® Professional Master (ASPM) is a dedicated professional
who has studied and learned the proven and powerful techniques
of Staging® homes. They follow a professional code of ethics
and have set policies, as standards of excellence to follow, as
they serve their clients.
An
Accredited Staging® Professional (ASP™) or ASPM™
has successfully completed a detailed ASP™ course and passed
a required thorough examination on preparing homes for sale.
Staged®
Homes traditionally present themselves better than the competition
by being clean, clutter-free, and ready to show to prospective
buyers.
An
Accredited Staging® Professional (ASP™)/or ASPM™
is committed to the principles and practices of marketing properties
as Staged® Homes.

An
ASP has completed a rigorous and comprehensive training
program that teaches specific techniques and concepts in
home presentation and Staging®. This includes classroom
instruction and actual hands on Staging® in a real home
on the market for sale. Upon
course completion, ASP's are awarded the Accredited Staging®
Professional Credential which
allows them to professionally Stage® your home.
The
ASPM Designation was introduced in 2003 as an additional
benchmark of excellence for
Home Staging Professionals. It is awarded to individuals,
who not only complete the ASP Course, but
who have added more intense training one-on-one with Barb
Schwarz, creator of Home Staging® including
learning exclusive Staging techniques, Business Practices,
preparation of a Business Plan and
multiple hands-on Staging® projects to test their skill
and knowledge
The
ASP designation is the ONLY nationally recognized certification
for Home Staging®. Course graduates have been personally
trained by Barb
Schwarz, creator of Home Staging®, and best selling
author of books on the subject.
